Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Provide attentive care that promotes physical well-being, including infant care, toddler care, and general childcare routines Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure each child's individual needs are met, especially those with disabilities or special educational requirements Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play Document children's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about developmental milestones Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Hands-on experience with behavior management techniques and classroom management skills Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Familiarity with caregiving roles including infant care, toddler care, and preschool teaching Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play and exploration
