Job Description
Are you passionate about children, nature, and Spanish language education? We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and reliable Spanish-speaking teacher to join our nature-based preschool program. Our program emphasizes outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, creativity, and social-emotional development in a warm and supportive environment. Children spend time learning through nature walks, gardening, storytelling, music, art, and play-based activities. Responsibilities Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment Lead activities primarily in Spanish Support children's social, emotional, and academic development Facilitate outdoor learning experiences and nature exploration Read stories, sing songs, and engage children in hands-on activities Maintain positive communication with families and staff Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Qualifications Fluent Spanish speaker (required) Experience working with children ages 2-5 preferred Early Childhood Education coursework or credentials preferred Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about child-led learning Compensation $18-23 per hour Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Professional development opportunities Schedule Full-time or Part-time Monday-Friday About Us We believe children learn best through meaningful experiences, nature exploration, creativity, and strong relationships.
