Competitive hourly rate, based on experience (1099 position)

Overview:

A warm, busy family in Brentwood is seeking a dependable and proactive Part-Time Family Assistant to help support the flow of daily family life.

Three children, 5 years old, 3 years old, 10-week-old infant. The role is designed to lighten the load for two working parents with demanding medical careers while helping maintain a calm, organized household environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, helpful, organized, and enjoys being around children, pets (golden retreiver), and a busy family lifestyle. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking meaningful part-time work with a kind and grounded family. Note, the two older boys attend full-time preschool/daycare.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining organization and daily household flow Laundry and light housekeeping Coordinate grocery deliveries and put groceries away Help manage household routines during busy workdays Errands as needed Create a helpful, calm, extra set of hands for the childcare support. Must be willing to help with transitions, pickups/drop-offs, or schedule support when needed This role focuses more on family assistance, organization, light housekeeping, and meal support rather than full-charge cleaning. NOTE, deep cleaning is handled biweekly by an outside, professional cleaning company.

Meal Planning & Food Prep:

Assist with family meal planning and recipe organization Prepare ingredients and meal prep for family dinners Option to fully cook meals if desired, though not required Family enjoys healthy, fresh meals and prefers balanced cooking over repetitive slow-cooker meals Comfortable laying out recipes and helping streamline weekly dinners

Pay:
