Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience working with children. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their emotional and social development. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide attentive care for the children. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Assist children with personal hygiene and daily routines. Foster an inclusive atmosphere for children of all abilities, including those with disabilities. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Keep records of children's progress and any incidents that occur during care. Requirements Experience in childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus; certification is encouraged. Ability to provide care for children. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly valued. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and fellow caregivers. Patience, creativity, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial traits for success in this role. A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous. Knowledge of trauma-informed care. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Ability to perform patient observation effectively, recognizing changes in condition or behavior. Strong cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.
