Job Description

Looking for a part-time job that makes a difference? Join Chambliss Center for Children as a Teacher Assistant in our unique early learning center, Little Scholars. This mixed-age classroom is located at Momentum, a nonprofit organization that supports single mothers pursuing a college education. No classroom experience is required—we will provide training for the right candidate who is dependable, caring, and eager to learn. Schedule Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Opportunity for additional hours and potential full-time employment in the future
Pay:
Starts at $11 with no degree or experience, and increases with education and experience.

Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a fingerprint background check Experience working with children is helpful but not required Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers Responsibilities Assist in supervising and caring for children ages infant through 4 years Support daily classroom activities, play experiences, and learning opportunities Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and other routine care needs Build positive relationships with children and families Why Join Chambliss?
