Co-Teacher Ridgedale Child Development Center Pay:
$11.00-$16.00 per hour

https://rb.gy/0565tp Position Summary Co-Teachers at Ridgedale Child Development Center play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Co-Teachers work together as a team to lead the classroom, support children's development, partner with families, and advance the mission of Ridgedale CDC. This position models professionalism, faith, and compassion while ensuring compliance with Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing standards. Key Responsibilities Classroom Leadership Create a warm, welcoming, developmentally appropriate, and faith-centered classroom environment. Collaborate with your Co-Teacher to lead daily routines, instruction, transitions, and classroom management with consistency and care. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom while ensuring appropriate supervision of children at all times. Support the implementation of lesson plans and learning experiences that align with the CDC curriculum and Biblical values. Share responsibility for classroom preparation, materials, and documentation. Child Development & Learning Foster each child's spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Build meaningful relationships with children. Observe children's progress and developmental milestones and communicate concerns promptly with leadership and families when appropriate. Encourage play-based learning experiences that promote independence, curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Family Partnership Build strong, trusting relationships with families through ongoing communication and encouragement. Share children's accomplishments, milestones, and daily experiences with parents and caregivers. Support and encourage parents as they nurture their children's faith and development. Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with your Co-Teacher, Floaters, and leadership team to provide consistent, high-quality care and instruction. Maintain a positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude. Partner with leadership and follow guidance from the Curriculum Coach and administrative team. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, professional development opportunities, and special events. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred. Meet Tennessee DHS requirements for education and training. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
Pay:
$11.00 - $16.00 per hour
