Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and structured lesson plans. This role requires an understanding of early childhood education principles and a commitment to supporting each child's individual learning journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate children in various subjects including language, mathematics, science, and social skills. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns. Provide toddler care as needed, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all students. Engage in curriculum development that incorporates early intervention strategies for children needing additional support. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices. Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience working with preschool-aged children. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to young learners. Knowledge of standardized testing practices relevant to early childhood education. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in toddler care is a plus, ensuring the ability to cater to the needs of younger children effectively. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports early intervention when necessary.
