Pre-K Teacher

Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create a safe, respectful environment. Support toddler care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring child welfare and safety at all times. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote consistent learning experiences both at school and home. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and program standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention practices. Proven experience in classroom management within preschool or daycare settings. Strong curriculum development skills with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, and physical education activities. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, in a nurturing environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with special education needs and strategies for inclusive classroom environments. Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational approaches is highly desirable. Competence in lesson planning that integrates standard curricula while fostering creativity and exploration.
