Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated afternoon Co-Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team in a Christian education setting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Your passion for childhood development and experience working with children will help foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Duties Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards and individual student needs in a Christian Education setting Support classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage social skills and emotional regulation among students Conduct classroom activities that promote early childhood development Support classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and transitions to ensure smooth daily operations Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, and childcare best practices Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Experience with curriculum tailored for preschool-aged children Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and students' families Experience working with children across diverse backgrounds in daycare or private school settings Classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings demonstrating effective teaching and social-emotional learning Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young learners through energetic teaching approaches that emphasize growth, curiosity, and joy!
