The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Duties Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive redirection and conscious discipline practices. Help children learn through play and positive interactions. Provide individualized support to children. Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages participation from all students. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment and follow cleaning and sanitizing procedures properly. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. CPR Certification Professional References and good work Experience working with children is essential. Familiarity with classroom management techniques. Ability to differentiate instruction according to the needs of children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow educators. Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
