  • Full-time About us Lord of Life Preschool is a play-based preschool in Memphis, TN, just outside Germantown.
We are engaging, fun, supportive and our goal is to Educate, Encourage, and Nurture preschool children. We are looking to add teachers to our preschool! The positions available are both school day or full day options. We have availability from 6m-5 years old. Starting in August. We are a Reggio inspired program that believes in teaching to the whole child. We want to embrace a child where ever they are at developmentally and help them gain physical, cognitive, social and emotional skills. We believe that encouraging a child's spiritual growth is just as important as academics in preparing them for their future! We are looking for talented educators who: Plan, organize and implement play based lesson plans with developmental growth in mind. Have previous early childhood experience Communicate effectively with parents, families, and co-workers. Accurately assess students and relay information to parents and families during Parent and Teacher conferences Cooperatively work with a team of teachers Support students in their spiritual growth by incorporating stories from the Bible using song, activities, or small group work Work one on one and in small groups leading activities for children Maintain health and safety standards by implementing and following a classroom cleaning routine Enjoy working with young children in an early education environment MUST BE 21+ and have a Bachelor's Degree and have a clear background check.
