Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive space where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's individual growth and well-being. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care activities. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction. Provide attentive childcare by supervising children during play, meals, naps, and outdoor activities. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as needed. Administer basic first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized, positive learning environment. Demonstrated ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children with diverse needs enhances your suitability for this role.
