Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will inspire growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers. Your expertise in child development and classroom management will help foster a positive atmosphere that encourages exploration and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers Create a nurturing environment that supports individual needs, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Engage children through interactive activities that stimulate literacy education, motor skills, and early intervention strategies Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism Monitor and document each child's progress using standardized testing methods and child development instruction techniques Collaborate with families to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral management strategies, and daily updates Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to ensure a safe learning environment Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches when appropriate to enhance learning experiences Requirements Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for infants and toddlers Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare policies, and health & safety standards in early childhood education Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; Montessori training is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic classroom environment Passion for working with children and dedication to fostering their growth through engaging teaching methods Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundational skills they need to thrive!
