7:45am-2:15pm Join our vibrant Mother's Day Out Program as an Infant Teacher dedicated to nurturing the youngest learners in a joyful, safe, and engaging environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering early childhood development by providing compassionate care and educational support to infants. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive foundation for children's growth while ensuring their safety and happiness throughout their day. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants. Provide attentive, nurturing care including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants as needed. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Observe and document each child's developmental milestones, behaviors, and individual needs to inform ongoing care strategies. Collaborate with team members to plan daily schedules that balance structured activities with free play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and managing transitions smoothly. Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a caring and patient demeanor. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage effectively with parents. Ability to work flexible hours during program days while maintaining high energy levels throughout your shift.
