In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique developmental journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years, laying a strong foundation for their future success. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and Reggio inspired principles where applicable. Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote childhood development, including infant/toddler care, and preschool experiences. Manage classroom environments effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques to ensure a safe, inclusive space for all children. Conduct assessments using CDC guidelines to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with families, specialists in early intervention, and other educators to support children's holistic development and welfare. Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, STEM activities, and social-emotional learning to foster well-rounded growth. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored for early learners. Expertise in working with children with diverse needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation. Experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred; Reggio Inspired practices is a plus. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
