Summary We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Grow Academy in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the educational experiences of our young children, ensuring they receive the best care and instruction as they grow and learn. Responsibilities Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that follow established curriculum standards, using the Abeka curriculum to create engaging and effective learning experiences for preschool children. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community. Maintain classroom organization and manage behavior effectively to promote a respectful learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Qualifications . Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting (required). Strong understanding of childhood development principles (required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required). Certification in First Aid and CPR (preferred). Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards (preferred).
