WRCCC is seeking a dedicated and professional individual who loves children and is willing to work as Lead Teacher in our 2-Year Old Toddler classroom with a potential start date of Monday, June 1, 2026. Job responsibilities include, but limited to; understand curriculum as it pertains to the child development theories, implementing lessons plans, instructs students individually and in group, interacts and engages with students to facilitate cognitive and social-emotional learning, establish meaningful and positive relationships with parents and co-workers, responsible for the welfare, safety, and health of children in care and for practicing general health principles and accepted universal precautions, help students learn classroom procedures, help students learn personal responsibility and respect for fellow students. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for teaching, love working with children with the following preferred qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with young children.
  • CDA or Associate Degree in related field preferred, but not required or currently enrolled in classes.
  • Ability to promote the appropriate developmental skills in young children.
  • Experience in creating and implementing lesson plans.
