The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to the academic and personal growth of children. The School Teacher will be responsible for planning lessons, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect among students. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods including tests, assignments, and observations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities. Foster relationships with students to support their emotional and social development. Incorporate creative activities to enhance learning experiences. Ensure the safety of students by adhering to first aid protocols and emergency procedures. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare or early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Certification in First Aid is a plus. Experience in working with children ages 5-12 years old.
