In this vital role, you will assist with daily childcare routines, support early childhood development activities, and ensure each child's needs are met with care and professionalism. Your positive energy will help foster a warm atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and social growth. Duties Support the lead caregiver in implementing daily routines such as meal times, naps, playtime, and educational activities Assist with supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities to promote safety and engagement Help facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences that support childhood development milestones Maintain a clean and organized environment by sanitizing toys, changing diapers, and tidying up activity areas Observe children's behavior and communicate any concerns or notable developments to the lead caregiver Support children with special needs or disabilities by applying inclusive caregiving techniques and behavior management strategies Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary and emergency response readiness Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly desirable Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in classroom or caregiving environments Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is expected Background working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining patience and positivity This role is perfect for compassionate individuals eager to support young children's growth while developing their skills in early childhood education.
