Childcare Teacher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Twos teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate classroom management techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications Experience working with children in a preschool or similar setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, infant care, special education, and caregiving practices. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
