Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team in the 78734 area. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years. As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your enthusiasm for working with toddlers, will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, and early childhood development principles. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social-emotional growth. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom management strategies to ensure an organized learning space. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special needs related to early intervention or special education. Support children's physical development through teaching physical education activities and promoting healthy habits. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and best practices in child welfare and daycare standards. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, Montessori methods, and preschool best practices. Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with toddlers. Expertise in curriculum development tailored to early intervention, literacy education, math concepts, and social skills for young learners. Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and create an engaging learning environment. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support child welfare and educational goals. Familiarity with lesson planning tools, standardized testing procedures, and tutoring techniques for early learners. Experience implementing special education strategies and working within inclusive classrooms to support diverse needs.
