About Us:
At Tender Care Learning Center , we believe children thrive when they are nurtured, respected, and given the space to explore the world around them through meaningful play. Serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in the heart of Bellville, TX, we offer a warm, family-centered environment rooted in social-emotional development and play-based learning .
Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable teacher to join our Three-Year Old Classroom . You'll play a key role in providing responsive care, supporting developmental milestones, and fostering secure, trusting relationships with our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Build warm, responsive relationships with children Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports exploration and development Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that promote growth in all domains—social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive Support and guide children through daily routines Model and teach positive emotional regulation and communication skills Maintain accurate observations and documentation of each child's progress Communicate professionally with children and parents to foster connection and trust Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and joyful classroom environment Follow all state licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children in a group setting strongly preferred Passion for supporting young children's development through social-emotional connection and play CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to lift 30 pounds and engage in active, floor-level play
