Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Early Childhood Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and care for children of all ages, primarily two year olds. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the developmental needs of young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood education, classroom management, and experience working with diverse age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth and learning in a nurturing setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of children from toddlers to preschoolers. Create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development. Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, orderliness, and an inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning. Support early intervention strategies and special education needs to foster inclusive participation for all children. Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills among students. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's individual growth plan. Maintain documentation related to child welfare, development milestones, and classroom activities. Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches as applicable to enhance learning experiences. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, curriculum innovation, and teaching best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Experience with classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development across various age groups. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and physical education tailored for young children. Familiarity with special education needs, behavior management techniques, and child welfare standards. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or specialized instruction such as tutoring or preschool experience. Experience working in daycare settings or private schools is advantageous. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus. This position is ideal for educators committed to fostering a nurturing environment that promotes holistic childhood development through innovative teaching strategies and compassionate care.
Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
