Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will inspire young learners, foster their curiosity, and create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and development. As a leader in the classroom, you will implement engaging curriculum plans, manage daily activities, and support the overall well-being of toddlers. Your dedication will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future learning journey while ensuring a safe and joyful atmosphere. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that emphasizes literacy education, early intervention, and childhood development principles. Lead classroom activities focused on social-emotional growth, behavior management, and physical development tailored for toddlers. Manage daily classroom routines including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and nap schedules to ensure a balanced day. Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to support child welfare and educational goals. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to maintain high standards of classroom management and childcare quality. Incorporate Montessori methods and other educational strategies to enhance learning experiences in a preschool setting. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health protocols, and licensing requirements related to daycare and early childhood education. Requirements Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for preschool-aged children. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus. Familiarity with toddler care practices including physical education activities and literacy education techniques. Ability to lead a classroom confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and safety.
