Job Description

Company Overview Capital Area Child Development Center is a new preschool in Cedar Park, serving children from infancy through age 5. We take a strong developmental approach in our programming, with daily enrichments that include music, yoga, art, and athletics, taught by experts. We proudly offer on-site speech, occupational, and behavioral services for children up to 5 years old. Join our dedicated team as an Early Childhood Teacher in the Cedar Park area. In this vital role, you will support children's developmental needs through engaging educational activities, contributing to our mission of community support and child development.' Responsibilities Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum tailored to early childhood development. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages learning and social skills. Collaborate with therapists, parents, and educators to support individual children's needs. Manage classroom activities effectively to promote a positive learning atmosphere. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain detailed records of student development and communicate regularly with families. Participate in community outreach programs to promote early childhood education. Ensure safety and well-being of all children in your care.' Qualifications' ' Proven experience working with young children in educational or therapeutic settings. Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and educational activities. Familiarity with special education needs and intervention strategies. Certification or licensure in early childhood education preferred. Experience with classroom management and behavior guidance. Passion for supporting children's growth and learning.'
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
