Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development through innovative teaching practices and compassionate care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, social-emotional skills, motor development, and cognitive growth for infants and toddlers. Foster a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence. Engage with children through play-based activities, hands-on learning experiences, and individualized attention to support their unique developmental stages. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions, ensuring consistency and comfort for young learners. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management. Adhere to all mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for children. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields such as Montessori or preschool teaching is advantageous. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies is essential. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and sensory experiences. Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive learning environments that support children with diverse needs including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
