St. Paul Christian Academy is a childcare center committed to providing a safe, loving, and structured learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We focus on early childhood development through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and positive guidance.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Preschool Teacher to lead our 3-4 year old classroom . The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment while helping children develop early learning skills such as colors, letters, numbers, social skills, and independence.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Teach early learning skills including letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and social development Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest time Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Use positive guidance and classroom management techniques Communicate with parents about children's daily activities and progress Follow all state childcare licensing regulations and center policies Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required (early childhood education preferred) Previous preschool or childcare experience preferred Patience, reliability, and a passion for working with young children Ability to manage a classroom of preschool-aged children Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
Schedule:
Monday - Friday Full-time hours Part-time hours
