Job Description

Location:
Dickinson, Texas Highland Forest Daycare and Early Learning Center is a nature-inspired, education preschool. We are located at 351 FM 646 RD N, Dickinson, TX. Highland Forest Daycare and Early Learning Center is seeking a nurturing and attentive Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. The Lead Infant Teacher will be responsible for the daily care and instruction of infants ages 12-23 months old. The ideal candidate should have a passion for caring for infants, ensuring their safety, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and high-quality care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Follow daily schedules and routines. Engage in play-based learning activities that support infants's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their infant's daily activities, development, and any concerns that may arise. Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Must pass a background check Proven experience working with children in a daycare, church, after-school care program, nursery, or other childcare setting is strongly preferred. Knowledge of child development and appropriate caregiving practices. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring). Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stoop as needed. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with parents and coworkers. High school diploma or equivalent is required Additional education or certifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus. CDA is preferred but not required Experince with Frog Street is preferred but not required Experince with Texas Rising Star is preffered but not required
