In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children, supporting their growth and development through playful learning and attentive caregiving. Your energy and dedication will help foster a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore their world. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor activities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Follow established curriculum plans and adapt activities to meet individual needs of children with diverse abilities or special needs. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Stay informed about mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with all licensing requirements related to childcare standards. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective child development instruction techniques. Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (Child & Infant First Aid) to ensure immediate response during emergencies. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities to support inclusive learning environments. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while creating a warm, nurturing atmosphere for children. Experience with behavior management strategies tailored to young children's needs; previous nannying or babysitting experience is a plus. Join us in shaping bright futures!
