In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster curiosity, promote growth, and support the foundational skills necessary for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills for infants and toddlers. Provide attentive care that ensures the safety, health, and well-being of each child in your classroom. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, independence, and emotional regulation among young children. Engage children through interactive lessons, play-based activities, and hands-on experiences aligned with childhood development milestones. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental goals, and address individual needs or concerns. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations. Use classroom management techniques to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies tailored for infants and toddlers. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; Montessori or special education experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting young children and engaging in active play activities. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth during critical developmental stages.
