Job Description

Infant Teacher - Full Time Crosstown Preschool Do you have a heart for babies, a love for early childhood, and a desire to make a lasting impact during the most important first years of life? Crosstown Preschool is looking for a nurturing, dependable, and compassionate Infant Teacher to join our team! At Crosstown, we believe children thrive when they feel safe and loved. Our infant teachers play a vital role in creating a warm, responsive environment where little ones can grow, learn, and reach important developmental milestones. Our classrooms maintain low ratios to allow teachers to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized care. We use the Frog Street Curriculum to support age-appropriate learning through play, exploration, songs, books, sensory experiences, and intentional interactions.
Responsibilities include:
Providing loving, attentive care for infants throughout the day Creating a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Supporting infants' daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and play Engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and experiences Encouraging social, emotional, and developmental growth Building positive relationships with families through daily communication Maintaining a clean and organized classroom Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Crosstown team We are looking for someone who: Truly enjoys working with infants and celebrates the little moments Is patient, kind, dependable, and team-oriented Understands the importance of attachment, consistency, and responsive care Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Desires to help children feel loved, valued, and supported Shares our heart for serving children and families in a Christian environment
Requirements:
Previous childcare experience preferred (willing to train the right person) CPR/First Aid certification preferred Ability to pass required background checks At Crosstown Preschool, we are more than a childcare center, we are a community committed to loving children well, partnering with families, and creating a place where children can grow in faith, confidence, and curiosity.
Pay:
$13.00 per hour
