Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for children's future learning and growth, ensuring they develop essential skills through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and compassionate care. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and positive behavior management. Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that support early intervention strategies and special education needs. Monitor and assess individual progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or support as needed. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, behavioral insights, and developmental milestones effectively. Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a structured learning environment. Incorporate child welfare practices into daily care routines to ensure the health, safety, and emotional well-being of every child. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across various educational approaches such as Montessori or traditional methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; experience with special education or toddler care is a plus.
