Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing and developing young children will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment tailored to infants' unique needs. Your dedication will foster growth, curiosity, and emotional security in our youngest learners, setting the foundation for their lifelong development. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote infant growth across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains. Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times. Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and behaviors to support individualized learning plans. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive classroom experience that supports early childhood education principles. Manage classroom routines efficiently while demonstrating excellent behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions. Requirements Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in infant care. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with nurturing caregiving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner. Flexibility to adapt routines based on individual child needs and developmental progress.
