Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Worker/Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a nurturing environment for young children to learn, grow, and thrive. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities, ensuring safety, and supporting developmental milestones across diverse age groups. Your positive energy and commitment to childhood development will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families every day. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education, social skills, and creativity. Supervise and engage with children during play, learning activities, meal times, naps, and outdoor time to ensure a safe and stimulating environment. Monitor children's behavior using effective behavior management techniques, fostering positive interactions and emotional well-being. Provide first aid and handle minor injuries promptly while maintaining accurate incident reports. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities. Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities to support various developmental stages.
