Job Description

Join our close knit early childhood education center as a 2 Year Old Teacher dedicated to guiding toddlers through one of the most important stages of early development. In this role, you will support growing independence, language development, social skills, and emotional regulation in a safe, structured, and loving classroom environment. You will help children build confidence, learn routines, and explore the world through hands on, age appropriate experiences while working closely with a supportive team and engaged families. Responsibilities Provide warm, attentive care for 2 year old children in a safe and structured classroom Support daily routines including meals, diapering or potty training support, naps, and transitions Encourage language development through conversation, reading, songs, and interactive play Guide positive behavior using gentle redirection and age appropriate classroom management Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that support motor skills, early learning, and social growth Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment at all times Communicate daily with families about progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Observe and document child development and report concerns or updates to leadership Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistency and quality care Qualifications Experience working with toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years) in a childcare or daycare setting preferred Understanding of early childhood development and toddler behavior Patient, energetic, and nurturing personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a busy, active classroom environment CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Passion for early childhood education and supporting young children through key developmental stages About Our Center Our center is built on a close knit, family oriented culture where teamwork, respect, and communication are at the core of everything we do.
