We're looking for a Preschool Teacher who can bring curriculum to life through play, routines, and responsive teaching — while building strong partnerships with families. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a Preschool Teacher who: Is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of the preschool years (ages 3.5-4) Knows how to implement curriculum in a play-based, intentional, and meaningful way Values routines, structure, and developmental milestones Supports children's social-emotional growth alongside early academic skills Partners with families to celebrate growth and navigate challenges together Creates a calm, engaging, and joyful classroom environment Key Responsibilities As a Preschool Teacher at LCCA, you will: Create a safe, nurturing classroom where children feel confident, connected, and supported Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons aligned with curriculum goals Support early literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and problem-solving through hands-on experiences Observe, document, and reflect on children's growth, milestones, and daily routines Maintain open, respectful communication with families through daily reports and conversations Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements, including supervision, handwashing, and meal routines Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to ensure consistency and classroom coverage Participate in ongoing professional development, including 30 hours of annual training Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required CPR/First Aid Certification (to be obtained within the first two weeks of employment) Texas Food Handler's Card (to be obtained within the first two weeks of employment) Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred but not required.
