Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that promote physical education, math skills, and overall child development.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare setting.
- Create engaging activities and educational experiences that encourage learning through play.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). (Required)
- Ability to pass a background check. (Required)
- Teacher certificate (Preferred)
- Bilingual (Preferred)
