Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant / Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth across all areas of childhood development. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will inspire curiosity, support early learning milestones, and promote a safe, joyful classroom experience. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, social skills, motor development, and early math concepts tailored for infants and toddlers. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children. Engage in hands-on activities that support physical development, sensory exploration, and early intervention strategies when needed. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency to ensure child welfare and safety. Utilize behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation in young children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to development or well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate educational principles or other educational philosophies emphasizing child-centered learning. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development stages, classroom management strategies, and special education needs such as early intervention approaches. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, teaching physical education, and literacy education for young learners. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; Montessori certification is a plus. Ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a safe environment that promotes child welfare. Experience with standardized testing or assessments related to early childhood education is beneficial but not required.
