Job Description :
Lead Teacher will be responsible for educating children with core Montessori teachings, working cohesively with the rest of the teachers in setting up curriculums, training teachers to implement the Montessori methodology. Our expectations include our staff should be hands on, caring, creative, patient, communicating with parents and should work well with the rest of the team. Continuous improvement under the guidance of the school director is expected.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational, physical, emotional and social needs of each child.
  • Create a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn and grow.
  • Supervise assistant teachers and provide guidance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Montessori certification is required
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
