Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool / PreK Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool and PreK age groups, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports childhood development milestones. Conduct lesson planning that aligns with early intervention strategies and standards for preschool education, including standardized testing preparation when appropriate. Foster strong communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth and well-being. Manage classroom activities effectively to support classroom management goals, including toddler care and childcare best practices. Use assessment tools to monitor progress in areas such as literacy, math, social skills, and overall child welfare; adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Support children's emotional and social development through nurturing interactions, behavior management techniques, and individualized attention. Skills Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Expertise in curriculum development with a focus on literacy education, math instruction and physical education. Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles while maintaining a structured classroom environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment. Experience working with children with special needs or in private school settings is highly desirable.
