Job Description

We are in search of an Childcare Assistant Manager to join our team and provide leadership, stability and support to our center. The right candidate will be well-qualified and passionate about early childhood education, and will share our team's values. Additionally, our Assistant Manager must be incredibly organized, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. The position includes all of the following aspects: Assist in Childcare Center Operations Ensure Texas State Licensing requirements are met Staff needs and relationship management Focus on recruitment, and retention of staff Frequent interaction with Director, staff and families What you'll do Be a trusted advisor to enable staff to leverage our resources to achieve their goals. Assist in scheduling, staffing, payroll, and daily center operations. Monitor state licensing requirements for all aspects of the center. Create and facilitate systems for center needs including but not limited to: Required center documentation (employee files, student files) Greet visitors, answer questions, arrange meetings, lead tours, and perform other daily customer service tasks Design, create and deliver the weekly take-home activities and snacks. Plan, coordinate, and implement staff meetings, and staff appreciation that celebrate the staff and encourage them in close collaboration with the Center Director. Assist in establishing staff training events What you need to succeed Preferably 2 years experience in an assistant manager role that requires customer interaction and developing relationships. Strong and proven track record of successfully engaging staff through training, resources, and experiences. Full understanding of state licensing requirements, and quality accreditation standards. Experience managing staff, working with parents and interacting with children. Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent work ethic and leadership skills. Self-motivated, team-oriented, very responsible, and focused on exceeding expectations. Demonstrated ability to deal with change and excel in high-stress situations.

What You'll Do:

  • What You Need to
Succeed:
