Curriculum You'll Use Frog Street Curriculum Bob Jones Press Curriculum Reggio Emilia-Inspired Approach Conscious Discipline Play-Based & Project-Based Learning Faith-Based Bible Integration Who We're Looking For Certified Preschool or Elementary Teachers CDA Credential welcomed & supported Bachelor's Degree Required Prior classroom experience Required Passion for Early Childhood Development Strong communicator with families & staff Faith-aligned values Required in Christianity Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with our multi-curriculum framework, tailored to each child's developmental stage Incorporate Biblical World Standards into Every Daily Lesson Use diverse teaching methods — storytelling, singing, hands-on crafts, interactive media, and play-based learning — to bring learning to life Observe, document, and assess each child's progress across academic, social, and emotional domains Build and maintain Student and Classroom Portfolios that capture each child's growth and achievements Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture using Conscious Discipline strategies for conflict resolution and behavior management Guide children through academic foundations aligned with Texas TEKS, including shapes, numbers, colors, pre-literacy, and practical life skills Communicate openly and consistently with parents — providing daily updates, insights, and developmental feedback Collaborate with fellow educators and admin staff to create a unified, enriching learning environment For Preschool, supervise nap times and snack breaks, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom at all times Skills & Knowledge That Set You Apart Childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Special education awareness and inclusive classroom practices Behavior management and trauma-informed care approaches Basic math concepts, early literacy, and STEM integration for young learners Physical education and gross motor activity facilitation Basic Spanish and/or basic sign language — a wonderful bonus Proficiency with digital communication tools for parent engagement
