Job Title:
Daycare Teacher Job Summary We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively. Key Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, lessons, and playtime Support children's emotional and social development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Assist children with basic needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene Monitor and document children's progress and behavior Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about daily activities and development Enforce daycare policies and adhere to health and safety regulations Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Previous experience working with young children (daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Skills Knowledge of child development principles Classroom management skills Strong observation and problem-solving abilities Ability to create engaging learning activities Work Environment Active, hands-on role requiring standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Indoor and occasional outdoor supervision Benefits (optional section) Competitive pay Paid time off Professional development opportunities Health benefits
