In this role, you will engage with children across various age groups, from 6 weeks to 12 years, supporting their developmental milestones through fun, educational activities. Your positive energy and caregiving skills will help create a safe, inclusive space that promotes curiosity, growth, and joy every day. We are hiring primarily for a toddler teacher but we can make adjustments if needed. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, creativity, and social development for children in daycare settings. Provide attentive infant and toddler care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including snack times, nap schedules, diapering, and transition activities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts constructively. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood education environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies. ( Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment. Ability to adapt activities for different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists. Compassionate caregiving attitude with a passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth. Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
