Early Childhood Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a small Catholic School environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that foster growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Duties Design and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, and math. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Support children's social-emotional development by promoting cooperation, empathy, and self-regulation skills. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs, including special education and early intervention services. Conduct assessments to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Proven experience in classroom management and curriculum development for preschool. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to adapt lessons for children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
