Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence in our littlest learners. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula tailored to toddlers' developmental stages, and foster a warm, supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning while ensuring each child's safety and well-being are prioritized every day. Duties Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on Infant care, literacy education, early intervention, and social skills. Lead daily classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and physical movement aligned with childhood development principles. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and nurturing environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and student interns to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional support. Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, meal attendance, and assessments such as standardized testing where applicable. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Experience Proven classroom experience working with children aged 1 to 3 years old in a daycare or preschool setting. Bachelors degree in any field is required Strong background in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies. Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and child welfare practices. Experience managing a classroom environment effectively through classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with teaching tools such as lesson planning software and assessment methods including standardized testing. Prior experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly advantageous. Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
