Are you passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing young learners? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Toddler/Transition Montessori Teacher to become a vital part of our supportive team. In this role, you'll create a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to explore and grow. Your leadership will foster positive behavior, support individualized learning plans, and promote each child's development. You'll also collaborate with families and staff to ensure every child's well-being and success. Duties Lead daily classroom activities for toddlers and transition-aged children, ensuring a structured yet flexible learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate childhood development principles, sensory activities, and social-emotional learning. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high-quality care standards and effective classroom management. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including first aid procedures, emergency response readiness, and proper supervision at all times. Support potty training and diaper changing when needed. Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns while fostering positive relationships built on trust. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to health regulations related to childcare and daycare settings. Skills Proven experience working with children in Montessori settings, especially with toddlers or transitional age groups. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques. Montessori certification is highly desirable. Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture a caring and inclusive atmosphere. Ability to adapt activities for children with diverse needs while maintaining a structured routine. Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external professionals. Demonstrated commitment to child safety, caregiving excellence, and continuous professional growth.
