In this role, you will assist lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your positive energy and caring nature will contribute to fostering a joyful atmosphere that promotes childhood development, social skills, and early learning experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that develop social skills, motor skills, and cognitive abilities. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, to ensure a secure environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and assisting with behavior management strategies. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and nurturing qualities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
