Responsibilities:
Supervision and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for children, monitoring them at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Daily Care:
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, changing diapers, and helping children with their personal hygiene.
Activity Planning:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.
Engagement:
- Interact with children through play, storytelling, and other dynamic activities.
Observation and Reporting:
- Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress and communicate observations to parents and staff.
Environment Maintenance:
- Maintain clean, organized play and learning environments by tidying up after activities and ensuring equipment is safe and in good condition.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Parent Communication:
- Build positive relationships with parents by providing daily feedback and updates on their childs progress and activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a professional setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Basic understanding of child development principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The role requires physical activity, including standing, sitting, and engaging in play with children.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the center, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
