Your expertise in early childhood education and classroom management will inspire curiosity and joy in every child you teach. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Foster a positive classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and encouraging respectful interactions among children. Provide attentive toddler care and support early intervention strategies to meet individual developmental needs. Conduct lesson planning sessions that incorporate Montessori principles and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate, adjusting activities to support their growth. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes optimal learning conditions. Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of early childhood education techniques, including curriculum development, literacy education, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, literacy, social skills, and physical activities tailored to various age groups. Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education preferred; relevant qualifications include CPR/First Aid certification, background chec.
